Michael Crow

Michael Crow is a lifelong Kentuckian. He attended the University of Kentucky, obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in English. He attended Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he was a member of Moot Court, the Appalachian Law Society, and worked with the Children’s Law Center and volunteered with Legal Aid of the Bluegrass. He graduated and became a licensed attorney in 2005. Michael came to Lawrence and Associates after two decades in the pharmaceutical industry. During that time, he consulted with manufacturers, distributors, and pharmacies to comply with state and federal requirements and maintain the integrity of drugs throughout the United States. This includes drugs that are likely in your medicine cabinet right now. Additionally, he helped manufacturers transition into the new restrictions on drug sample distribution and reporting aggregate spending of marketing expenses…. You probably fell asleep reading that last paragraph. Who can blame you? This is one of the reasons for the career pivot. When Michael’s kids would ask him, “What kind of lawyer are you?” He would essentially recite that last snoozer paragraph. And the kids would ask, “Huh? … What?” So, he decided it was time to use his powers for something more palpably good. Last week, Michael’s older teenager asked “So, with Workers’ Compensation, do you represent the people who get hurt? Or the company that’s trying not to pay them after they got hurt?”

“We help the people who got hurt.” “Oh, good.” And that’s one reason Michael is glad he’s in this area of the law now.
