Meagan Knows You 

Meagan has congenital scoliosis and had a spinal fusion surgery as a teenager. She understands first-hand the physical, mental and emotional pain of back pain, surgery, recovery, and physical therapy. She was also involved in a severe car accident as a young adult and suffered a head injury that temporarily derailed her academic and professional career and affected her interpersonal relationships. Because of these experiences, she understands that physical injuries impact every part of an injured person’s life, and she fights to make sure her client’s are compensated fully for all of their physical, financial, mental, emotional, and relational injuries. 

Meagan Knows the Other Side 

Before joining Lawrence & Associates, Meagan worked in insurance defense for nearly a decade. This experience gave Meagan unique insight and perspective that helps her better serve her injured clients today. As an insurance defense attorney, Meagan represented individuals and corporations accused of negligence, but she also worked with and for the insurance companies who retained her, directed litigation, and who ultimately were responsible for paying settlements and verdicts. She also aided insurance companies in property and casualty claim investigations. Not only did this give her the opportunity to learn insurance and personal injury law and hone litigation skills, but it gave her a unique perspective in the way insurance companies evaluate and fight claims that now helps her to resolve cases for her injured clients. Meagan joined Lawrence & Associates because she wanted to be on the side of injured people, and use her skills and knowledge to support those in need. Meagan strongly believes in the jury system and trusts Ohio and Kentucky juries to deliver just results for her clients.
