Justin L. Lawrence is the managing partner of Lawrence & Associates Accident and Injury Lawyers, LLC, the successful law firm he founded in 2005. Along the way, Justin has started and built up the firm’s practice areas in personal injury, worker’s compensation, and social security. Justin was also honored with the Alex P. Hotchkiss Award for outstanding Chapter Justice, and the Hoffman Chapter was awarded the international Stanley H. Kohn Award for best chapter.

Personal Life

As managing partner of Lawrence & Associates Accident and Injury Lawyers, LLC, Justin Lawrence has led the firm since 2005 with a clear mission: to fight for the highest possible recoveries for his clients while setting a new standard for client service. Having built the firm from the ground up, Justin’s dedication to his clients has made Lawrence & Associates one of the most trusted injury law firms in the Tri-State area.

For Justin, success doesn’t mean avoiding difficult cases—it means embracing them. His firm has taken on complex cases with significant impact, such as advocating for female clients whose injuries have included sexual trauma or dysfunction, often in areas where the law’s limitations create unnecessary barriers to full compensation. Lawrence & Associates has thrived because of its willingness to take on challenging cases, knowing that these cases make a real difference in clients’ lives.

Who Is Justin?

Justin is blessed to live with his wife Michelle and two wonderful children, Gabe and Alyssa, in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. Michelle is a pediatric nurse and has been putting up with Justin since they were married in 2007. Alyssa is a cross country and track star, making straight As. Gabe is a happy teenager with Down Syndrome who shows resilience in the face of adversity every day.

Outside the courtroom, Justin’s enjoys setting and overcoming physical challenges. Examples include a one-day 33.5 mile World Walker hike, a one-day 4,000 foot elevation gain hike that spanned 24 miles, completing a Goggins 4x4x48 which involved running 48 miles in two days, and completing his first Murph in under an hour (a Murph is a 1-mile run followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, and another 1-mile run). Justin does these things because they are hard. His ability to focus on a unique goal for months on end translates to his ability to help clients with especially difficult cases. He is exceptional at planning strategies months in advance and executing those plans successfully. He never gives up when there’s a path forward. Every lawyer in complex litigation should have these skills.

Justin Knows What You’re Going Through

Justin’s son Gabe helps him empathize with, and better understand, his clients and what they’re going through.

Gabe has had 22 surgeries in 15 years. He’s had heart surgery, stomach surgery, back surgery, and surgery on his legs. All of them relate to complications that occur frequently in people with Down Syndrome. Justin’s experience helps him empathize with clients who have extensive medical treatment. He can help explain the emotional toll not only to the injured person, but also the injured person’s entire family. He knows what it’s like to be in a hospital room and kiss a loved one goodbye as they go to a complicated and uncertain operation. He knows what stress and worry do to a parent, or spouse. He feels your pain.

Justin’s focus on efficiency helps clients avoid unnecessary delays that could lead to additional financial or emotional strain. Associations & Organizations

Justin has taken leadership roles with the Kentucky Justice Association, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association and is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice and the Kentucky Bar Association. Justin has previously been a member of the American Association for Justice and was appointed to the Kentucky Early Intervention System Interagency Coordinating Counsel by Governors Beshear and Bevin. He continues to be active as a member of the Salmon P. Chase Inns of Court and was the alumni adviser to his Phi Alpha Delta chapter for thirteen years. He regularly practices in Kentucky and Ohio and has also won awards in Pennsylvania and Indiana. In addition to Justin’s professional memberships, he was on Redwood’s Board of Trustees and is active with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati. Redwood is a school that helps children and adults with disabilities grow and live to their fullest potential, including entering the workforce and living independently. The Down Syndrome Association provides aid and support to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
